Bios for my main characters. These are the ones that I spend the most time developing, and the ones I draw the most. They're the more important of my characters.
note: height and weight are mostly guestimates...they may not be exactly right. Especially for the anthro forms. (I don't really know what the proper height-ratio is)
Also, all ages are "permanent". My characters are just kinda always the same age.
Tiarra
(role play character--Tiarra exists only in the universe that she is RP'ed in, and does not exist in the same universe that my other characters are in)

powers: teleportation, manipulating energy: can create an energy ball or a small energy shield for a short period of time (just enough to defend against a projectile or a quick attack, if the timing is right) , and can sometimes create a sort of a glow by drawing energy around her Every time she uses any of her powers it draws from her own energy, so she becomes a bit weaker each time she uses her powers

personality Normally quiet and reserved, Tiarra is quite shy but friendly. When she's in a good enough mood, particularly around her friends, she can sometimes be a bit more energetic. She tends to be a bit flirtatious around David.
past Tiarra's father, Mikael, was separated from his family at an early age and was raised in a town near the Mystic Ruins by an Overlander (human) family. Her mother, Miko, was a descendant of a group of echidnas that left what is now the Floating Island long ago. Mikael was an archeologist and found a mysterious gem in a dig, and gave it to Tiarra as a present. The gem is called the Destiny Stone and it gives Tiarra her power (it's kind of a long story how it got stuck to her forehead). It has also slightly altered her appearance over time (she used to be all purple, including her hair, except for the white bands on every other spine). Tiarra's parents died years ago. She then lived with the Verano family, the family that raised her father, until she left recently to live on her own.
present Ever since she discovered the powers that come from her gem, the Destiny Stone, Tiarra has been trying to find out exactly what it is and the secrets that lie behind it. She has had some help from Knuckles and the Chaotix, and her boyfriend, David. It seems some kind of special destiny awaits her, for which she must use her powers. Tiarra has encountered many adventures with her friends.
future Being an RPG character, the future for Tiarra remains mostly uncertain (unlike some of my other characters). What is known is that she will be married to David Giovanne, and have two children: a son, Nizou; and a daughter, Daphne. She will also have a career as an elementary school teacher.
Cherry

personality Generally down-to-earth and mellow, but other times she is more outgoing. She is very friendly and optimistic, willing to see the good in everyone. But she is also very determined and can be very tough when she has to be. She loves to tease her friends (especially Radar), and uses sarcasm frequently as a form of humor.
past Cherry's ancestors were part of a group of echidnas that left Angel Island (a.k.a. The Floating Island) before it rose into the sky. Cherry was therefore born and raised on the mainland of Downunda. When her parents were captured by Robotnik's forces and roboticized, the parents of her best friend, Akinya, took her in under their care. At that point she became the last descendant of that particular group of echidnas. For a long time she thought she was the last of her kind, until she traveled to the Floating Island and met Knuckles.
present After her initial trip to Angel Island, Cherry decided to move there, followed by her best friends, Radar and Akinya. During her visit she stayed with Knuckles in his cabin, and that is where she currently resides. Cherry is not an official member of the Chaotix, but she helps them out frequently whenever she can. She often ends up facing off against Kelsey.
future In the nearer future, Cherry begins to train her fighting skills, with Knuckles teaching her some moves and techniques. Along with enabling to help the Chaotix even more, this also proves to come in handy when the Freedom Fighters, Chaotix, and a few others face off against Robotnik in a final battle. After Robotnik is defeated, the Freedom Fighters find Cherry's mother and return her to Cherry, deroboticized. Her father, however, was damaged beyond repair. Cherry eventually marries Knuckles and has six children, including a pair of twins: three sons and three daughters.
Akinya

personality Akinya is very quiet and reserved, and very shy. She loves to daydream and has a huge fondness and appreciation for nature. She is very gentle and has quite idealistic views about romance...and pretty much everything else. She can also be a bit naive. But she is kind to everyone, and hates to see anyone not getting along.
past Akinya is Cherry's best friend. They have known each other nearly their entire lives. When Cherry's parents were captured, Akinya's parents took her in, until years later they were also captured by Robotnik.
present When Cherry moved to Angel Island, Akinya and Radar followed her. Akinya shares Mighty's cabin. She is not an official member of the Chaotix, and can't fight (not to mention refuses to), but she still helps out in other ways if she can.
future Akinya eventually marries Mighty and they have a single child, a daughter.
Radar

personality Radar is very energetic, and hates to stay in one place for long. She loves nothing more than a big party or an adventure. She also tends to be a bit on the cynical side.
past Radar is a close friend of Cherry and Akinya. As an orphan, she has never known her parents and never found out what happened to them. She met Cherry and Akinya when she was about 5 years old and had gotten out of the orphanage unauthorized (being able to fly comes in handy). She ended up having to go back, but periodically left to visit Cherry and Akinya, despite the fact that it got her into trouble. Cherry is the one who gave her the nickname Radar.
present Having gone with Cherry and Akinya to live on Angel Island, Radar now shares Vector's cabin. But she's rarely inside as she prefers to sleep hanging from the trees. Like Cherry and Akinya, she is not an official member of the Chaotix, but she helps out whenever she can. In fact, she loves to fight.
future Radar ends up training a bit for spy work in the final battle against Robotnik, as her ability to fly and echolocation make her a good candidate for the job. But she prefers to fight, and so ends up learning a few fighting moves as well. Radar eventually marries Vector and they have two daughters.
Kelsey

personality Kelsey can be described as being downright mean. She can be quite ruthless, and doesn't mind bringing misery to others to get what she wants. But she isn't completely heartless, and there is no limit to what she would do to protect those she cares about. She is very determined and wastes no time at anything. One thing she loves to do is flirt, and she tends to be very "friendly" with men. Naughty by nature, she knows how to sway men to her bidding. She loves making Zap blush--although it doesn't take much.
past Kelsey is the older sister of Nack by three years (in my version). Their parents were never married, and their mother left for reasons unknown to Kelsey and Nack. Kelsey was about 5 years old at the time, barely old enough to remember. When asked what happened to their mother, their father simply said she was "gone", leading Kelsey to believe she was dead. Their father taught Nack and Kelsey all they know about thievery and stealth, and many other things that helped make them into the avid jewel thieves/treasure hunters that they are today. But when Kelsey was about 16, their father disappeared mysteriously. To this day neither Nack nor Kelsey knows what happened to him.
present Kelsey tried to steal the Master Emerald when Nack failed, but she herself was defeated. Used to getting what she wants, and never one to lose gracefully, Kelsey continues her attempts to get a hold of the Master Emerald, sometimes alone, sometimes with the help of Nack and/or Zap. Except now she sees it as being personal more than anything else. She's more interested in saving her reputation and pride than in the gem itself or how much money she could get from it. Kelsey currently dates Zap, her newest partner in crime. Or it might be more appropriate to say she owns him. Together, Kelsey, Nack, and Zap make up a trio, and are constantly at odds against Knuckles and the Chaotix.
future Eventually Kelsey turns around, changing her ways and giving up on treasure hunting and the Master Emerald. She even manages to become friends with the Freedom Fighters. She helps them out with the final battle, shortly after which she marries Zap and has two sons and a daughter.
Zap

personality Zap is generally pretty quiet and prefers to keep to himself. He would rather do everything on his own and usually refuses any offer to help. He is very serious and remains calm in most situations. He can be quite cunning and devious, and has a lot of patience. Like Kelsey, he can also be quite ruthless. But there is no end to what he would do to protect those few that he does care for. Unlike Kelsey, he is actually very shy, especially around women.
past At age 16, Zap was the only survivor of a huge fire that wiped out his village, including his parents and his little sister. The cause of the fire remains unknown, but Zap is certain it has something to do with Robotnik. But in his mind he has a reason for blaming virtually everyone on the planet. Because of this, he doesn't trust anyone. His goal is to defeat Robotnik...and then take over, wanting to make sure no one remains happy.
After failing one particular attempt at breaking in and destroying Robotropolis, Zap ended up, reluctantly, joining the Freedom Fighters. Realizing his goal would be difficult to achieve on his own, he thought it would be beneficial to have help from this group. Amy Rose took to him instantly, and insisted on being his friend, no matter how much Zap objected. But he was actually drawn to her because she reminded him of his sister. When he heard about the Master Emerald, he decided it was exactly what he needed to defeat Robotnik, and with it he wouldn't need the Freedom Fighters anymore. His attempt to retrieve it resulted in a charge of treason--that is, an attack on Angel Island and the Chaotix, allies of the Freedom Fighters. But he managed to escape. When he met Kelsey soon afterwards, he joined her and Nack in their cause.
present Zap currently works with Kelsey and Nack, in their shared goal to obtain the Master Emerald, although their motives are different. He also helps them with their other exploits. Kelsey has come to be the only person that Zap cares for and trusts, except maybe for Amy (he can't stand Nack).
future With some help from Amy and Kelsey, Zap begins to realize the mistake of what he's been trying to do. He manages to change and go back to who he was before the demise of his family...or at least something closer to that. He ends up living in Knothole with Kelsey, though not necessarily as a member of the Freedom Fighters. Ever since losing his family, Zap has had a secret wish to start a new family, but had dismissed that as something that would never happen. But he finally gets this wish when he settles down with Kelsey and has three kids.
Nikolai

personality Nikolai is quite egotistical and self-absorbed...and he tends to think that every girl wants him, no matter how many times he's rejected. He is mischievous, and enjoys annoying the hell out of anyone he doesn't like. He's also prideful and likes to show off. And he loves money. Surprisingly, however, Nikolai does have a sensitive side...something that never shows unless someone is hurt or in danger.
past When Nikolai was about 6 years old, he ran away from home to escape his parents' constant fighting. He was picked up by a group called the Coldbloods (so named because all members are either reptiles or amphibians) and was trained as a spy. As a member of this group, he was given a wristband that can create an illusion to make him look and sound like anyone else (as long as it's someone he's come into contact with, and the size difference isn't too great). Years later, when he finally discovered the true purpose of this group, he left...but unfortunately this is not a group one can leave freely. Nikolai left the country to escape, intending to go as far away as possible. He ended up at Robotropolis, where he made a deal with Robotnik. He would spy on the Chaotix and try to find out the location of the Master Emerald. At first he attempts to gain the trust of Knuckles and the Chaotix, but when that doesn't work, he impersonates Mighty and Espio (Charmy is to small for the illusion to work and Vector is too big), thereby almost succeeding. But once he realizes he's not going to get the reward promised him, he quits, turning against Robotnik, and ends up just staying on Angel Island, as a sort of permanent hiding place.
present Nikolai ends up living by himself a little ways off from where the Chaotix have their homes. He remains on Angel Island, unable to leave for fear of being caught. The island is pretty safe so long as his former comrades don't discover it, or at least don't think to look there. His only companion now is Lydia, who lives nearby, and whom he continues to pester relentlessly. But he's really hiding feelings for her that he is afraid to show...
future In the near future Nikolai and Lydia end up together as a couple, when they both finally manage to admit their feelings. At some point Nikolai is pursued by Diego, who was hired by the Coldbloods to go after him and find him. But Lydia stops him, and they manage to convince Diego that Nikolai is really the victim here. However they don't meet again since, or at least not for a long time. At some point the group dissolves or is defeated so that Nikolai and Lydia no longer have to worry about them. They eventually get married and have a son.
Diego

personality Diego generally remains very calm, even in the most severe situations. He never shows much emotion, unless he's especially angry. He's very reclusive, keeping to himself as much as possible, and never says much.
past When Diego was about ten years old, his parents were divorced. He wasn't very happy when his mother re-married a couple years later, especially since it was to someone he didn't like. When he was 16, Diego met Lucinda, whom he married when he was 19. Lucinda was murdered a year later, and after that, in the same year, Diego's best friend (and only friend) Marcos died. It was then that Diego became a bounty hunter, originally hoping to find whoever it was that killed his wife...and to take down those who would harm others.
present Diego has long given up on finding Lucinda's killer, not having enough to go on. But he continues his career as a bounty hunter, as a means to take out his anger and vengeance. He has earned a strong reputation, known for his sharp aim, strong sense of determination, and vigilance. But he won't harm anyone as long as there is a chance they may be innocent.
future In the near future, Diego meets a cat named Amber when he is sent after her brother. Amber pleads for her brother's innocence, and explains the situation, which leads Diego to realize he had been set up. However, Amber's brother ends up being killed anyway by the organization that hired Diego, and he is gravely wounded trying to protect the two siblings. Amber fixes his wound, and he stays with her a while to regain his strength. They are parted for awhile, but reunite, and it is after this that Diego is finally able to fully recover from the tragic loss of his wife. He thus quits the bounty hunter profession in exchange for a more peaceful, normal life. Eventually he ends up marrying Amber.
Lydia

personality Lydia is the sort of person that you do not want to get mad. She has a very explosive temper, but at rare times when she's not pissed off at something (or more likely someone) she can actually be pretty calm. She is very bold and strong-willed. Lydia much prefers to be alone, and doesn't get along with hardly anyone (nor does she ever try).
past Having been heavily trained since she was a child, Lydia was one of the Coldblood's best assassins. But she never really liked being a part of the group that had been her family for most of her life, and didn't like what they were doing. Yet she did not leave for two reasons, one being that she knew she could be killed for leaving, and the other being that she was reluctant to leave the only life she had known for so long. She finally left after Nikolai had managed to escape, finally deciding that she would rather take her chances than to stay.
present Lydia ended up an Angel Island, where she found Nikolai. She stays somewhere nearby where he is, where she constantly fights off his almost relentless advances. She even goes so far as to challenging him a few times to get him to stop. Somehow, though, Nikolai is the only person she will tolerate, even if it doesn't seem to be very much. But what she feels towards him is in fact quite contrary towards how she acts...a fact she herself doesn't even realize.
future In the near future, Lydia and Nikolai finally realize and admit their feelings towards each other, and end up as a couple. When Nikolai is pursued by Diego, Lydia stops him,managing to convince Diego that Nikolai is innocent (well, as far as the particular charges against him anyway). Eventually they marry and have one child.
Spike

personality Spike tends to be very...rude. He seems to go out of his way to make people angry. But he himself has quite a violent temper. He can even be a bit of a bully at times, using threats and force to get his way. And he tends to be quite overconfident.
past Not much is known about Spike's past (in other words, I haven't developed it). He is the last living member of an otherwise extinct species. Due to various factors, the thylacine population had shrunk considerably. Robotnik wiped out the last of of them.
When Cherry met Spike, she tried to befriend him and introduced him to the Chaotix. But the effort ended up in chaos, and a big fight between Knuckles and Spike which ended badly.
present Spike quickly became a major rival against Knuckles, made even worse by the fact that Spike has developed an interest in Cherry. He also gets into frequent disputes with the other Chaotix. Most of the time he stays away and isn't seen very often. Lily, whom he barely knows, seems to be the only one who isn't bothered too much by his attitude.
future In the nearer future Spike and Lily will end up as a couple. At this point, Spike starts to soften up a bit and becomes easier to get along with, though he doesn't lose the "bad boy" persona. Further in the future they marry and have a son and daughter.
Lily

personality Lily is very friendly and outgoing. She is often quite energetic, but at times can also be calm and quiet when needed. She loves being with people and making friends, and tends to be very understanding of others. She even seems to be able to sense certain things about people...to be able to look a little bit further into them than most people do, and never judges by first impressions. Lily sometimes acts younger than her age, but she doesn't care what other people think. She just likes having fun her own way.
past Lily was born and raised in a small village inhabited mainly by beavers, along the side of a lake created by a dam built by the beavers. The villagers are always working, bringing down trees and hauling logs. But Lily has never liked this work. She prefers to sit by herself and read. Something her father, the village chief, isn't happy about. When the dam broke one day and the village was flooded, and the Freedom Fighters came to help rebuild, Lily decided that she wanted to join the group, hoping for something new and different, along with a little adventure. Sally and some of the other Freedom Fighters managed to talk her dad into it, and Lily then moved into Knothole.
present Lily currently lives at Knothole as a member of the Freedom Fighters. Her natural strength and swimming ability come in handy, as well as her tail, which can make an effective weapon. She met Spike on a trip to Angel Island, and, for some unknown reason, immediately took to trying to become his friend, refusing to give up in her pursuit. She seems to be the only person willing to look past his actions.
future Lily and Spike eventually end up as a couple, later to be married and have two children.
